Colin Reid, General Partner

Colin joined Burgess Hodgson in 1992 as a trainee chartered accountant. He passed the Chartered Institute of Taxation exams in early 2000, shortly after being offered a position as a partner in the firm in April 2000.

Colin is a general partner with a wide range of clients based both locally and in and around the London area. He has been involved in a number of start-up businesses giving advice on accounting systems, financing, VAT, Corporation Tax, Personal Tax and many other issues.

Colin lives in Chestfield with his wife and three sons. He is a keen sportsman and golfer and has been a member of the Chestfield Golf Club since 1978. He currently serves on the committee as the Club’s Chairman of Finance. He is also a member of the Canterbury Businessmen’s Golf Society whose members include local businessmen, solicitors and bankers.
